Don't underestimate the smaller machines. Gotten in some tight places with the mini pulling the mini where my truck wouldn't fit...atleast without damage to the truck.
Tractors are very capable on pulling stuff. After all, tractors were designed to pull. One thing I've noticed after being on a couple forums for some time is that people in the US are sooo afraid of pulling an heavy trailer with a tractor but aren't afraid of using something like a stump bucket or lifting crazy amounts of weight with the loaders that is far more abusing for the tractor than pulling the trailer.
I used to pull my Toselli crawler with my "little" Kubota B7000. It was pulling about 4200 lbs between the crawler, mower and homemade trailer.
like how you got that balanced on the dual axle. I haul heavy loads on single axle in fields and it can be tricky due to single axle has no horizontal ( IE dual axle will help hold tongue up/bed level compared to single)"stability" but I get it done safely.
have hauled 30+ bales of hay on 7x14 thru field and few miles down road.
backing....whole different situation due to toungue rise but....it can be done
