Biggest Tires for HPX?

I was wondering what the biggest tire was I could put on my HPX. I saw that Super Grip was making a new 5 star rim that looks really cool, and I like the look of the Mud Lite radials, but I'm unsure how big a tire I can go. How about it guys? Any help would be appreciated!

The real question is how much horsepower do you want to give up? That is how big of tire you can put on.

A 26" mudlite or 589 will work without any lift.
If you lift the front you can go with 27's.
You won't notice any negligible power loss~!

I have 27" tires on my XUV; I like them. There are pictures in this forum of my machine. It shows what they plus a 2" lift looks like. I would not go bigger than 27". They are big enough.

Thanks for the replys guys. Where do I get the lift? I take it only the front needs a lift. The rear looks like it has plenty of room. Anyone running the Mud Lite radials? That's what I'm thinking about trying. Looks like a good tire.

what do you plan on riding in .alot of mud? i have the 27"589's on my hpx and they are great for mud and dry ground and snow from what i hear.and they wear down really slow. i don't have any lift kit in the front anymore and i very seldom bottom out infact i only bottomed out one time and that was with a load in the hpx plus i had a 200 plus pound passenger with me . my recomendation would be a 26"or 27" 589 they are gonna bite better than any tire their wieght out there and after two years of havin them i only got stuck one time with them.lol

you can go with 25" outlaws but you need some gears or horsepower to turn them and the need for them they start at about 120 on up and 180 for 31.5
