Bird gets close to the 10,000 mark

Well I have been spending very little time on TBN lately, and when I do, the sheer number of posts scares me /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Just on tonight for a quick look and I see that our elder statesman (I know I have called him that before so I am sure he won't mind /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif) BIRD is nearing post number 10,000.

This is an awesome acheivement indeed. I am sure all TBN'ers at some stage or another have benefited from or smiled at some of Bird's posts.

Heck he has sold the farm, moved to town and is a regular crimefighter now. Just like the old days !!!

So here's cheers to Bird and let;s hope we get another 10,000 posts out of him /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

If only I could get time to read them all............ /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Geez, and I was feeling all proud about this being my 2000th post! Seriously, Bird has helped all of us and one time or another, so I can think of no better way to reach that 2k milestone than saying THANKS, BIRD!

I have sticky notes in my pocket calendar with model numbers for air tools you've reccommended, among a huge number of other things, like combinations to locks, passwords for computer stuff, the color pattern of my friend's lobster bouys, and the part numbers for all the filters I need, even for vehicles I no longer own.

According to my wife, when you get into the pocket calendar, you are immortal.

Seriously, Bird I still remember reading your unbiased advise over 3 three years ago when I started doing my research for my first real tractor. You, and many other "veterans" on this board made a "know nothing" beginner like me feel welcome. Your non-judgemental responses were always informative and a pleasure to read.

I've been on this board for over 3 years now, sometimes more active than others, but throughout all this time I see that you're still every bit as warm and cordial to the new-comers as you were to me. I know I still appreciate it and I'm sure all the TBN members you've helped feel the same way.
