Bird, or anyone... (I just know Bird does/did tinker on these kind of things)
Years ago, I bought an oiless Campbell Hausfield compressor and with it, came a little box containing a 1/2" impact wrench as well as a chisel. Both branded Campbell Hausfield.
The compressor bit the dust so it was a good excuse to get an oiled compressor!!
Last night, wife comes home, wakes me up (asleep on the couch) and says I've got something for you, hold your hand out.
I sleepily hold my hand out and she about breaks it off when she puts this into it: 232TGSL 1/2" Super Duty
Seems she bought this for $90 at some kind of auction for one of the local hospitals (I think Childrens Hospital). Regardless... I think someone 'donated' it for the auction, it LOOKS brand new, has NO box, NO instructions and the model number and serial numbers, though present, look like the were engraved VERY lightly.
I'm simply wondering since I already HAVE an impact wrench, is this worthwhile to keep or is my Campbell Hausfield "just as good"?
I probably use an impact wrench once a year it seems? Maybeeeeee twice? Point being, it's not something that is of constant use.
