I'm getting frustrated with finding a economical loader for my 3510 (not a 3510i). I've priced a Bush Hog and Koyker loader in the price range of $4300-$4500.
My first option was to build my own. I emailed questions to Cadplans and never got a response. Then I came across a Kubota LA480 loader that needed work for less than the steel would cost. The hydraulics are burned up from a tractor fire. Got it home and and after dissassembly found the frame to be twisted.
Well I finally decided enough is enough and bought a BL10A loader today. The dealer said it would fit. I guess he was wrong. The 3510 has a slightly different bolt spacing on the frame rail as well as lacking a thread block as on the 3510i. The instructions show the BL10 exploded view. This appears to be what I need for the 3510.
Questions:
1. Since my dealer is cloesed until Monday, Is the BL10 readily available? If so, how does the price compare to the BL10A (the dealer would probably have to special order it which I would assume make is more costly)
2. Will the BL10 fit the 3510?
3. I can drill new holes in the BL10A mounting plate and fabricate a front subframe like on the BL10. What is the metal thickness on the front sub-frame?
Thanks,
Brett
