Along with what Ron advised...
Are you getting this from the dealer where you are buying the tractor, of from a third party?
You want to be sure that when you put it on your tractor is is put on right. My manual states that "Grand L tractors require the use of braces under the top sides of the heavy dutytop link bracket." So you probably need more than just the heavy duty top link bracket to do it right. If the dealer is installing it that is one thing. If you are trying to figure it out you may miss something that is important when you apply the backhoe to a different tractor than it was on to begin with.
Another thing to check is that the hitch limiter safety bar is still in place, and that the special hardend pins that are used to attach the backhoe to the top link bracket are still there [not sure how to tell if they are the original ones though].
You also want to get the right ROPS for your tractor. A folding rops is sometimes specified to give greater head clearance.
Hope this adds something... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
