I didn't see much in the way of any great deals at least not for me, being new cordless tools is what I am mainly interested in. Most promotional offers were what I had been looking at before, and right up to Black Friday and thru Cyber Monday.

What I did see was a lot of so called "sales" on a lot outdated older stuff. Perfectly good tools I'm sure, but technology surpassed once or even twice by now. There were still Ni Cad kits being advertised, and older smaller AH rated lion batteries either alone or with certain advertised tool kits from some manufacturers with not even a large enough cost savings to make it look enticing, at least not to me. Also noticed a lot of discount offers went against an inflated MSRP so with discount it was pretty evenly priced to what many tool vendors were getting all summer long anyhow and the savings were negligible IMO.

Guess I'll wait until AFTER Christmas this year :D

I agree. The only one I saw that was interesting was at Lowes, they had the Porter Cable 20vLion kit for $350 (previously $400). Had pretty much all their tools in it (drill, 1/4" impact, sawzall, saw, light, angle grinder, fein multitool, etc with two carry bags), but I suspect that it will be on sale again soon.
