Blades just Stopped on 3000 series !

Please be more specific about the problem. Is it electric clutch? Wire could have came off. Belt off main pulley. Idler not set correctly. No tension.
Belts are brand NEW !
All was working fine , and right in the middle of mowing my 3 acres....
blades stop !
I am suspecting a faulty switch.
All vacum lines look good.
I guess it boils down to... what would fail instantly ?

The 3000 series does not have a clutch, but a simple idler pulley against 2 belts.
Idler puller is pushed against belts by vacum servo.
But I am thinking switch on dash gets used a million times , due to back ups,
cutting circuit.
I will try to check switch today.
I was just wondering if anyone else has been down this road before ?
