Bleeding too!!!

My B2410 is bleeding also....just like Jezebel!! Fairly steady drip from one of the valves on the loader control box. Don't think it is too serious, but I called the dealer to schedule a check up. They will be picking it up tomorrow morning and fixing up everything immediately. Other than that drip I have had no problems. I've used the 3PH a fair bit with my blade and done some pulling from the drawbar. Lots of power and pretty decent traction even with the turfs. Hope I'm like you Jay and this is the only problem I encounter! /w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif

I had the same thing happen but to a lesser extent. After my tractor was first delivered I noticed a small pool of hydraulic fluid on my garage floor. I was able to trace it back to the loader control valve. It was never a steady drip in my case, but it was enough to mark up my floor which will annoy any new tractor owner, I think. I snugged up the connections at the fitting locations and that pretty well took care of it - I still get one or two drops on the loader frame. I'll probably talk with my dealer when I pick up the parts for the 50-hour service, but I'm not too worried about it.

Smooth sailing otherwise. It's a great machine isn't it/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif?

I thought it was just a loose fitting at first too. I snugged up the connection and it still leaks. The leak is almost non-existent when not using the FEL, but it is a pretty steady drip when the loader is being worked.

But you are right, it is a great machine, and if the dealer handles this "crisis" well, then I'll be pretty happy and comfortable with them also. Lets just hope it doesn't take too long to get her back!

Jezebel is 100%. It was a faulty control box and it seems to be working fine. According to MB tractor it's not uncommon to have a control box to go.Your tractor should be fine after they replace the control valve.

My B2410 was delivered home again yesterday. She is looking awfully nice and clean....and best of all no drips!!! They also installed the block heater which was back-ordered when I got the tractor. Certainly don't need it now...but sure will later on in the year /w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif.

Monday is a holiday here (Victoria Day) so I have a three day weekend. Glad I got her back or it would have been a long three days. Too much to do that can't be done without her!

My B7500 had a steady drip from the control valves too (at
about 10 hours).

Would turn into s pretty steady stream after it was warmed
up.

Turned out to be a bad seal; a dealer replaced it and it has
not dripped since.

My brand new B2410 has all sorts of drips. The first was from one of the hydralic hoses that connect up the FEL. I checked and the O-ring inside it had broken. I fixed it, and now it is dripping from both ends of one of the hoses on the left side of the FEL. Actually dripping doesn't do it justice, it is more like a slow flow. What a pain. I'm looking forward to getting some work out of this tractor, but so far I've been spending more time driving back and forth to the dealer.

Get yourself a set(about $69. large set) of open-end Craftsman wrenches from Sears and fix/tighten them yourself... {Have extra o-rings on hand as well...}
