Blitz cans on clearance at Lowes

Just in case anybody is interested,i just bought a couple of Blue 5 gallon Blitz cans (kerosene) at Lowe's.Yes i know your not supposed to

D ) keep off road diesel in kerosene cans,but i could'nt resist at a whopping $2.24 each.
I bought 4 for my own use to go along with the 4 i already had.
With the way diesel is going up,in a few weeks (unfortunately) it'll be like i got the cans for nothing. Just thought some of you would like to save a few
bucks.I would think if one Lowe's did this they might all be doing it.Maybe not.

Slightly off topic but I was in Farm and Fleet the other day, noticed the fuel cans are now vented, as in traditional vent with thread on cap..... did I miss something and are they once again available ??

I just finished putting together my 30 gallon drum and electric pump diesel storage set up this morning so hopefully I'm done with the 5 gallon can bit.

On occasion, I would fill a yellow diesel jug and a blue one with diesel and never had anyone say a word to me.

$2.24 is a good price for sure.

I happen to have shoulder problems and find the cans with two handles (one on top, one on the side) much easier to use. When I recently moved, I gave a friend five jugs with just a top handle.

Looking to replace them, I went into a Southern States store and paid around 11 bucks or so for plastic gas jugs. I had seen them for fifteen so I thought it was a good price until I went into a Tractor Supply and they had the same five gallon gas jug for five and change!
