In order to avoid pulling out a frost plug, I was just sold a threaded block heater (part 700000-17550) by my Kubota Dealership. It's maybe 3/4" that is supposed to be installed (acccording to them) at the front right of the block. "You should see a plug that you can just unscrew and screw the heater in" . Not so. After removing most of the tin, looking over engine diagrams and returning to the dealership w/ photos I'm still at a loss. Bottom line is nobody related to Kubota can tell me where this goes even though they're ALL Positive that it's the right part for the job. Any help would be great.

After going through installing a block heater in my kubota (nothing near yours though), you may want to check the head. I was looking all over the block for the spot. My local kubota dealership looked it up and told me to put it in the head.

I installed a thread in block heater on my M95 last winter. The existing threaded plug in my engine block had a recessed hex shaped Allen head drive. It was difficult to find but on my engine it was on the right side ( if you were facing front) of the block near the starter if I remember correctly. I would look carefully for a hex shaped Allen drive plug.
If you can't find it I would call and ask my dealer's service department for the location.
I had to use a hex drive Allen socket and a 24" breaker bar to get the plug loosened.
