Well first, make sure you're protecting them with the right size fuse. For the 3 cylinder, it's 30 amps. Not sure what size goes in the 2 cylinder - but I'd guess the fuse panel layout is probably similar. If that's ok, disconnect BOTH glow plugs and try again. If the fuse still blows - the problem is likely either a shorted feed wire or a bad keyswitchMy 2420 with the ty290 engine is blowing a fuse everytime I try to use the glow plugs. I have hooked them up one at a time to see if one might be bad but still the same problem. Any help would be great. Thanks
Replace them. Last I looked, they were about $15 bucks a pop.It will only blow the fuse if you turn the switch to activate the glow plugs.Thanks for you replies
