Hello TBN'ers,
This is on a 2012 Kubota B2620. I'm the original owner. Seldom, over the years, do I work at night with the head lights on. Over the years, on a few such ocassions, the headlights would not come on. Back then I just wiggled the socket (s) and they would light up. A few nights ago, I needed to drive in the dark, so I tried the headights. My wiggle the socket(s) didn't light 'em up. ..but the tractor drove just fine. So, today. I took the sockets apart...tried to reseat the bulbs,...dropped one bulb (it broke) and said "The heck with it"...I'll just drive it without headlights. Having some chores to do, I went to start the Kubota and it blew the fuse controlling the headlights....(a 10 amp mini fuse). So, I put in new 10 amp mini fuse and again it blew when I tried to start the engine.
So, later today, I took the sockets out of thier connection to the tractor, put in another new 10 amp mini fuse............but I am afraid to turn the key for starting. ...Think I'll wait till tomorrow for that.
Any thoughts????
Cheers,
Mike
