I snuck out of work early on Thursday to do the last mowing of the season, and blow the leaves around. I found it to be of great comfort to get out on the tractor and tool around for an hour. I needed to relax, since I was going to have my first ever surgery today: gallbladder removal. Obviously surgery went well, since in posting on TBN tonight. /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif I won't be tractoring this weekend, but it was a great feeling to get some tractor therapy to ease those pre-surgery jitters.

I haven't had a chance to even start up my 33D in over two weeks. I have spent every spare minute working on its new home.

Yeah, even with minor surgery, like that, it can get you a little jittery. Hope it went well!

A surgeon friend of mine explained the differance between major and minor surgery. Anything they do on ME is MAJOR, anything on someone ELSE is MINOR...

Kidding aside, hope it went smoothly and you can get to your post surgery rehab seat time quickly

I got up at 7am and went to my pasture and finish bushhogging it. 10ac in all.. about 5ac this morning. 7' tall ragweed and dog fennel.. occasional 1.5" sappling, etc.. lotsa gopherholes to dodge... or fall into...

Had to stop every 15-30 mins to clean the radiator pre-filter...

New brushguard I made for the front bumper works great! ( NH 1920 )

Lots of rain predicted here and temps at or not so far above freezing...it will be a real stretch to come up with a "must do" project that warrants seat time this weekend. Should have skipped out of the office a day or so earlier. With all the rain this month, pulling up the large bushes and stumps in the lower field is a snap...but less attractive to do during the actual downpour. And bushhogging wet grass and weeds isn't so effective. How can I reassure the tractor that it's not because I love it less?
