Blue vs Norway vs black

Looking to plant some trees this weekend here in Michigan...I want to border my property providing some wind protection and creating a little more privacy. Guy near me has 2' tall potted for a good price. Varieties of Blue spruce, Norway spruce, and Black hills spruce. I'm leaning away from the blue spruce...been hearing about a lot of disease issues with this type. So that leaves the Norway and black hills...what yea think?

There is a place just north of you who sells 2ft-3ft pines at a great price if you buy 20 or more.The are on Mt.hope road just east of the waterloo township hall.Check on the white/norway spruce.

For my clay soil Norway is the best growing with no disease problems

I don't know how many you're considering but why not consider a few of each variety. If some disease or another comes through a few years from now it may just affect one species and not all three. Diversification. Makes any problem a little easier to treat.
A Blackhills Spruce is a subspecies of White Spruce, looks a little like a Blue in shape.

Consider stating with a row of caragna's. Hardy, would provide wind protection and could make a fence.

Then plant the spruce on recomendations of local sources. Pines would also be nice if your soil moisture conditions are right. Pine may grow faster???
