Well, that depends on the yield, how many of that yield you can sell, and how much you can sell 'em for. :D

But seriously, there does seem to be a fair amount of info out there:
blueberry profit per acre - Google Search

Perhaps someone here with direct experience can provide some insight. We have some great blueberry plants in our garden area, but nothing approaching a commercial output.

Are you referring to high or low bush blueberries? Unfortunately the price of blueberries has fallen drastically for the good sweet low bush you get out of Maine and New Brunswick. It seems most stores now only carry the not so sweet big ones and I believe the market has been flooded thus the price is a lot lower now. I looked into a property in New Brunswick that had 16 acres of them (low bush) plus other acreage and really considered it heavily (to move down there and live/work on the property) but unfortunately the information I found was not good for reselling just the berries. I don't recall the price per acre though as this was earlier this year.

Now if you can take blueberries and make a side product with them and niche, then you'll do okay. I thought about that as well but because of my other business, timing is just not right for me.

Yield varies at my place, choice of plants is important too...for your area. Many Colleges have details on the web..$12.00 a gallon here...

They grow wild around here, so the demand is not really great. There is overhead invloved, combined with what the weather deals up. Keeping the birds off em is the first challenge.

I met a guy a few years ago that bought land on the side of a mountain with old BB bushes in northern ME.....

He worked at it for 4-5 yrs and his wife cussed him out whenever he would spend money on working it......a few years he barely made anything on that land....it wasn't a full time job

then one year he had a bumper crop and after the season was through he made enough to make one payment of over $150,000 to pay off his house......his wifey never complained about the land after that.....
