Box Blade - Everything Attachments vs Land Pride

I think I have my choice narrowed down to the Land Pride BB1254 (54" at 325#) or the Everything Attachments 4-1/2 Foot XTreme Duty (54" at 335#). I've read through some other threads on box blades, but I don't remember seeing the Everything Attachments one discussed anywhere. Both seem comparable in terms of design and weight, and there is only about an $80 difference between the two, although I'd have to go pick up the LP from a dealer about 30 miles away, so that increases the gap a little. From a performance standpoint, should I expect any difference between the two on a BX25?

In the short term, I have an area about 40' x 40 in the corner of my yard that needs a good grading. It's mostly harder clay, and there is a elevation difference of probably 3 ' or so across the area, with many localized peaks and valleys. I also have a straight run about 100' long in the front yard (newly installed sewer line with lawn to either side), a 100' long gravel driveway that needs some work, and another driveway that snakes it's way for about 200' or so with wider areas at each end.

I'd consider others as well, but these are the two that caught me eye while doing what I can to read up on these.

I have the Landpride BB1248, I'm also very happy with it. Seems well built and have used it twice on my gravel road and once for dirtwork. The 54" maybe a bit wide, i was told to stick with a 48" model. When that box fills up, thats when the tractor loses traction. No problems there with my 48". Plus its color matched.

Yeah, I'm on the fence between the 48" and 54" models. I had one dealer tell me that the 54" LP would be okay if I stuck with the 12 series (lighter than the 15 series), but my other dealer told me to stick with the 48". I can't help but think the added width will help me get closer to fences/buildings/walls without being too tight with the tractor. I know that technically the 48" is just outside the wheelbase, but I'm not sure it's enough for my comfort. Plus, if I'd ever upgrade to a B- or L-Series...you know how that goes.

Also, if you have rear wheel spacers on your BX25, the 48" will be too narrow. I went with the 54".

I am assuming the EA is cheaper. IF so, thats probably what I would do.

Save money, and have it delivered. OR pay more and have to go get one. But either one should serve you well .

I prefer the EA :D

Our solid welded hitch is more substantial/durable than a bolted hitch.
We weld a small plate on the bottom leading edge to slow the wear.
We use USA cutting edges. I don't know where theirs are sourced.
Shanks on the EA blades have holes vs. notched shanks on the LP.

I can't tell by their pic if they use a tube or if they weld two pieces together to simulate a tube. I think a true tube would be more durable.

Our 48" and 54" have the same number of shanks, so the extra 6" shouldn't hurt a bit!
I hope this helps.
