Can anyone help me please

bobcat 322 fell down a hole and was on an extreme angle while trying to push myself out it ran out of fuel I presume and stopped

I have tried to bleed the system it turns over and pumped smoke out of the exhaust

Sometimes it fires that will not read up it just like runs at low RPM and then stops then will not start again

Any help would be greatly appreciated

:welcome:
To TBN Kayesport from the USA. It sounds like it is flooding out. Does it have an automatic choke. If no choke then the the fuel regulator.

Typical symptoms of a diesel running out of fuel. Keep cranking it, letting it fire a few times and stall, etc. Don't overheat the starter motor. Just be patient. Eventually it will run continuously (but only slowly) then it will come alive. Set the throttle to 1/2 and keep working it. May need to have a jump battery nearby. My F-935 does the same thing if I don't watch the fuel gauge. If it has a water separator, you need to bleed that, too.

Where are you in Brighton ? I'm at Old23 and Hyne Rd. If you still need help, give me a chirp back.

Good afternoon yeah I'm not in Brighton at the moment I'm down in Lucca in Italy

Anyway bled the fuel with the hand unit no air in the system all the way up to injector pump

When turning the ignition on the relay clicks and the valve operates

It did start briefly for about two seconds but after that no luck turned it over for 10 minutes until the battery went it is kind of running but it will not stay running without the starter motor turning

I've cracked of the injectors fuel is coming out of those

Lots of black smoke coming out of the exhaust and engine is hot because it is firing in some fashion but as I say not without the starter motor

I was on a very steep virtually on its side incline when it stopped running is there a tip valve on one of these
which may be tripped or something

Or is it just air in the fuel pump getting bored with it now

I'm not a big fan of starting fluid, but do you have any? I assume you checked the air filter?
