Hi i finally got the right size tires on and just picked up a set of used loegering trailblazer tracks that a guy had on his 763. my question is this, i know my wheel base is shorter does anyone know the amount of pads and links to be shortened for the correct length i will need so i dont have to take them on and off to get it right? that would be cool. thanks again.Mark

Here is Loggering's customer service ph# 1-800-373-5441. Tell them what machine you have and what the tracks were set up to fit. They shoudl be able to give you info you need to adjsut tracks accordingly.

You can use a piece of rope to measure the circumference around both tires then lay the rope next to the track to get a rough idea of your track length. Leave a few bolts loose on the tracks so you can adjust the tension once you pull the tracks on the tires. Sometimes it is easier to let most of the air out of the tires to install the tracks. Are you using a jack or strap to pull the tracks together?

Hi thanks you guys for the info,i did get a strap with the tracks to draw them together. i just thought about the rope when as i was turning the computer on, and there was your suggestion. had not thought about letting out the air though. sounds like a good idea. thanks again. Mark

The rope Idea is good to get your primlinary length. Keep in mind you need about 1 3/4" sag in the top of the track between the tires to minimize excessive chain wear.

Here is the 1 man installation procedure that Loggering puts out in video, if you buy a new set from them:
Roll the trac out in straight line
Turn the trac over so gorund contact side of the track is facing up
Drive your machine up one end of the track, get it inline with the track
Connect a chain to first track slat closest to front tire
Run the chain over front wheel and rear wheel and pile rest of chain behind rear wheel
Back the machine straight back until the far end of the track goes over the front tire and falls close to mid-piont between both wheels
Manually lift the rest of the track over the front tire.
Use you strap, connect 1 - 2 slats back from the end over the rear wheel, feed the loose end of the strap under the both end slats and hook on to the front half of track 1 or 2 slats back from the end. This will pull the track together and hold the ends up so bolting them together is easier.
