I am in the process of re-building the front end of my 743 Bobcat and was doing great until I got to the tapered pins and associated bushings that go in the booms on each side. I thought I had press-in tapered bushings on this model, but now I am wondering if on these early models, there were no factory-tapered bushings. I don't know if I can't see them because there is so much wear, or they are not there at all, or that I am blind. Can anybody shed some light on this? I unfortunately do not have the luxury of taking it in to a bobcat dealer. I have already had a 10-ton c-clamp press on here, trying to see if I could get something to budge, but nothing is happening. I guess this made me think there are no bushings. They do show in the parts book, and I did order a set of factory bushings from the bobcat dealer.
