I have a 975 Bobcat with bad gear reduction case. Have found another case but seems to be a lighter duty. It has the same part number as the heavy duty case. Anyone know if bobcat made two different cases for this machine or is it possibly for a lighter machine. Concerned it won't hold up.
Thank you

Hey from Timmins Ontario Canada. I also have a 975 in need of a left side reduction gearcase p/n 5437204 (was 285101). It has brakes. All machines s/n 12001 and up have them, you'll see the housing between the drive motor and the gearcase. The middle gear and big one are the same but the housings are slightly different. Hopefully you aren't in the same boat as me and in need of the input shaft. I had all the parts quoted from Bobcat, they have them in stock....... its $8100 cdn. for the bearings, shims seals etc.. so used parts are a good find. Dude e-mail me if you have a connection on a dismantled machine. Thanks
