guys starting to look at a kioti dk40 hst -am i better uff getting the bobcat as they are stopping them i assume pricing will be better any thoughts thks

I love Kioti's KL 401 FEL on the DK series, I don't think any comparable tractor can beat it. Bobcat uses a different loader and I'm not sure how it compares. All being equal, I'd buy a Bobcat if I could save a few thousand bucks, otherwise I'd buy the Kioti. They're both virtually the same, but if you wanted the trade up or needed to sell for any reason, I'd rather have the Kioti.

I've been happy with my Bobcat 7TL FEL.
I even dig with it (carefully).

I found I had better luck negotiating the interest rate rather than the cost. And, even though Kioti has quite a following these days, you'll still pay more for the big name brands. Prices varied by one or two hundred between dealers but they all claimed lack of wiggle room. It's like buying tires, pay for a name or just buy a good quality tire.
