Bobcat T300 Drive Belt

I have a Bobcat T300 with low pressure shut down (05-14) code. Replace filters, fluid and sensor.

While checking the belt, the tensioner stop was all the way back and tight. The manual states to loosen bolt and slide stop forward all the to the idler arm and tighten. Is this correct? I would think having the stop back will cause idler to move a lot and cause slippage. Any ideas?

Slide the stop until it just touches or leave a slight 1/16" gap. The stop is there to take back lash out of the spring idler to reduce jarring impact of the belt. If belt still slips it is time for replacement.

Thanks for the help. I did slide the stop forward and I am still getting the low pressure shutdown. I'm thinking when the belt got changed last, the stop didn't get put back like it was supposed to. Been ran for a year like that for year or so. Do you think with the stop all the way back caused the belt to get stretched over time? I'm sure the tensioner was bouncing quite a bit. The machine runs great, plenty of power, so I doubt I have issues with the charge pump. I did change the case drain filter and fluid. Might be wise to change the drive belt before I go any further. Anyway to tell if this type tensioner is bad?

Is the warning coming on at all engine RPM or only at idle or high throttle? Dose it come right after starting cold or is it after system warms up?
Your really need to put a gauge in the system to confirm if pressure is low or is warning coming on due to electrical fault.

The 05-09 light used to come on randomly, Hot or cold, and at any RPM. Come on a few minutes then go off. That made me decide to change case drain filter and I unplugged electrical connector from pressure switch to inspect. Plugged back in now I get 05-14 light and shutdown. This has happened right after cold start. And sometimes I can use machine for about 20minutes and it comes on and shuts down. I will have to buy the parts to check pressures, that is why I haven't got that done. I am thinking electrical due to the randomness. I plan to start from pressure switch back to check connections and grounds. I have tried a new pressure switch. No change
