Bobcat what brand?

I'm looking to replace my 2210 with a skidsteer loader becuase the 2210 dosn't lift enough and it was bought for moving snow at a commercial business and I feel that a bobcat would get the job done better.

I'm just wondering what brand bobcat would be best. The IR Bobcat brand, CAT, JD, Case???

I don't know much about the different brands but my friend has a New Holland LX565. I've used it a few times and it's a nice skid steer. He uses it nearly every day in his concrete work and has had good luck with it. John

Can't say which brand is best. But I have spent hundreds of hours running Case 1845C skid loaders ( a very popular skid loader in this area).
They have been very reliable machines. I also like the hand control setup on the 1845C.

Bobcat skidsteers have perhaps the best representation and without a doubt, the best selection. The track type are unbelievable. Check one out but beware, once you've fooled with a track type, the wheeled skidsteers will no longer interest you. They are simply that amazing.

We also have a new S130 Bobcat and it has 1400lbs of lift. No problem with snow removal at all. Small bucket though 60", Where my tractor has a 72" bucket. S130 is around 22,000.00
with cab and heat and axu controls if you want to hook a snow blower up later. We just use the bucket for now. Very nicw machine for the price.

For snow removal I would recommend a Bobcat Toolcat 5600 Turbo utility work machine, a hybrid combo of a skid steer loader, tractor/attachment carrier, utility vehicle and pickup truck. That's the machine discussed in this forum. (More below..)

Bobcat Company, part of Ingersoll-Rand, began with skid steer loaders and that's what you likely referred to as a "bobcat." While continuing to be a market leader in skid steer loaders, Bobcat Company now makes and markets a wide variety of compact equipment. They make compact track loaders (CTLs), all-wheel steer loaders like A300, walk-behind mini-track loaders, larger Versahandler telescopic tool carriers, compact excavators, and the Toolcat utility work machine.

You can move snow with various types of many Bobcat Company and other brand machines, but all-wheel-steer loaders like the Bobcat A300 and Bobcat Toolcat utility work machine are more suitable than standard skid steer loaders, and these all-wheel-steer machines also will perform many other applications, too. Bobcat Company offers Snow Removal Attachments (mostly front-mounted) that include Angle Brooms, Snow Blades, Snowblowers, Snow Scrapers, Snow Buckets, Snow V-Blades, Speaders, and Whisker Push Brooms. Many of these attachments will fit on standard skid steers, but will perform best with either the AWS A300 or Toolcat utility work machine. Snow removal pros in colder climates have found Toolcats do what they need by providing manueverability, traction, high-flow auxiliary hydraulics for heavy-duty snowblowers, heated cabs, ability to spread salt or sand along with snow removal, etc.
