Loader BobTach question

I'm still learning, so please bear with me . . . .

I'm looking @ Bobcat tractors and they have a system called BobTach for attaching the FEL.

If I use the Bobtach system, does that mean that I can ONLY use Bobcat implements that are made to work w/this system?

Or are the quick release attachments standardized? So that I could use any quick release pallet forks or bale spears?

any standard quick attach system....except for maybe some real old stuff where it is not the current standard for quick attach equipment

Correct. Almost any skidsteer attachment in the past 2o years should work.

Poster is referring to skid steer carrier. Jd does have an optional skid steer carrier. IMHO, jd should use it as the only option. Skid steer carrier really is becoming the standard.

Bobcat's Bobtach system on the tractor is the same as on all skid-loader, which is an SAE standard as far as dimension or top engagement link and lower lock in pins, so any skid-loader attachment complying to the SAE standard will lock on. Not all tractor manufactures use the SAE skid-loader dimensions.
