Can anyone recommend good replacement body panels for my 1964 MF 35 deluxe 3 cyl Perkins? What brand names are the best? Sparex? Vapormatic? QTP (quality tractor parts)? What is a good online store to buy from. Any information about your experience good or bad is very much appreciated.
I purchased side panels and a lower front chin panel and a grille from Agriline in the UK but they just don't fit. I ended up having a replacement sent over and they still don't work. We tried bolting them to our original bonnet top and the lines are terrible and they don't fit. Now I'm going to try and get my money back.
The photos are with the sides bolted at the top where the bonnet meets the side panels. If I drill out the hole to match our bonnet top then the panels still won't fit and the lines are horrible with serious gaps. I'll have to cut and weld and beat panels into shape to get them to fit and then nothing is guaranteed the lower pivot bolts will be lined up. This project restoring this tractor with my 72 year old father is becoming a serious headache for us. We are just about ready to quit.
