During heavy use today, the centre drive shaft slid out of the front u-joint (4 wheel drive)
Can anyone help me as to how to proceed to put it back into place? Do I remove u-joints to have enough space to re-insert drive shaft?
Thank You

can you take a pic both ends of what you are talking about? I'm not sure exactly what came out of what.

Did the U-Joint come apart? Again - it's hard to tell you what to do without either an accurate description (in which, you probably wouldn't be asking), or a couple pictures :)

And - Welcome to TBN! It's an awesome site with tons of people willing and able to help.

More details: I am talking about the front end. I am talking about the drive shaft (dented all around) going towards the front axle. When it meets the axle, it slides in to a slot (yoke) connected to one of 2 universal joints. Because of the torque action today, it seems to have slid out of the yoke. It appears no major damage is done and only need to be re-inserted in its proper position.

Yeah, there's room to put it back in.

Did one of the "crosses" drop out of the yoke?
