This was my fall project but since I did not get more than 3" of snow all winter I did not get a chance to play with it in the snow. It works as designed. I added to chain drive to reverse the rotation of the front drive shaft. I owe the chain drive idea and parts list to my good friend Jim Bernstein. This was my first first chain application and he took the time to go online at Surplus Center and send me a list of item numbers. My target impeller speed was 1000 rpm so I had play with the pulleys to get it right. The Ariens is designed to mount on a 3600 rpm gas engine and I wanted to run my H1502 at 1500-2000 rpm. I still need to connect the momentary toggle switches and but since one switch was bad and my season is over, that can wait until next fall. Next, I am working on the Johnson loader. Forgive the steering wheel logo. I added power steering using a JD steering valve and steering wheel. I'll paint over it when the weather breaks.
