Bolens Iseki H1502 & a Bolens 1225 Hydrostatic
Hi all,

I just put a hydraulic manifold on my Bolens Iseki H1502 tractor. Do any of you know which fitting is the supply and return? I don't want to blow out the hydraulic pump hooking it up the the control valve in correctly.

Thanks in advance.

I'm sorry Ed but i'm not exactly sure what you mean by "supply and return". Remember, these little Iseki/Bolens tractors have an "open center" hydraulic system. That means under no load that there is always about 60-70 psi in the supply and return side. Only when there is a call for activation of a hydraulic component does the system pressure increase to around 1500 psi (mechanics out there please forgive me if my memory on these numbers is not exactly accurate!) This being said, there is only one way to hook up a supply and return for the hydraulic pump on these tractors unless you have some kind of an add on hydraulic system i'm not aware of. The return would go to the filter side.

I think what you might be referring to is that you may have added an FEL or some other implement. If this is the case I've included some pics to help you out maybe. The "out" line from the FEL goes to the back line of the take off manifold. The "in" line from the FEL goes to the front line. Hope that helps!

This is exactly what I did. I took the blank manifold off the side of the transmission and installed one like yours. The front outlet was the supply and the rear connection was the return on the manifold. Tim Smith gave me the info I needed last week... The plow blade picks the tractor right up off the ground now, if desired..
Thanks for the pics!

Here are the pics of the manifold I put on and the attachments with the hydraulic piston in the front.
