Like an idiot I didn't check my new CX2510's bucket before I ordered a set of bucket hooks and a clevis mount from @kennyd. The Kioti's bucket has an additional steel plate welded up under the top of the bucket so I can't use the bolt on versions. I know I could use the weld up versions but I don't really want to do that. What do you guys think about bolting these up to the frame of my Titan forks instead? This cross member looks pretty stout.

I welded hooks on my pallet forks. I don’t see why bolt one wouldn’t work also. I added some plate under my hooks just to be safe.

I think those bolt on hooks would be handier if you just welded them on to your bucket rather than your forks. Welding them is probably better than bolting them on anyhow. What do you have against welding them on?

Agree about welding them,if you decide to bolt may thick piece flat stock etc. make it strong washer nut side.

I would weld them on the bucket.

I had mine done by my dealer before he ever delivered the tractor. Very useful to have.

Pallet fork frame, not so much. There's plenty of places you can put a chain hook on that pallet frame already. Plus, putting the hook down low on the pallet frame will greatly reduce it's usefulness.

I use the pallet hooks a lot. I leave forks on tractor when cutting in the woods. Has come in real handy. Used to hook and wrap on forks. This is much easier now.

but I agree mount them higher to be of use.

i welded 3 on my bucket years ago.

The only reason I thought lower was that's a much beefier cross member than that higher part of the frame. But I guess the point of hooks on your forks is for securing loads and not pulling.

DING... Winner....

Any pulling should be done by hooks or rings on chassis.... Pulling to hard with FEL can wrack it out of alignment....

This is what I did for pulling direct from chassis behind FEL because there was no factor attachment point...
