Bonjour
, Hi, (sorry If my English is not 100%)
I'm a completely newbie in the tractor world.
A bit about myself: well I'm not at all in the Agri world (I'm a Senior System Designer, near retirement :laughing
and It's a bit funny that I just bought a new tractor not even knowing :confused2: what a 3 point hitch was, PTO, how implements works, regen, HST, Shuttle etc etc. but I read a lot about all this before buying to at least know a bit more what I needed to look for in a tractor.
I own a relatively small land I guess, 5 acres. To tell you the truth I bought this mainly to HAVE FUN snow blowing, to do pathways on our land, removing stomp with the backoe , perhaps even trying to prepare the land for installing a semi-inground pool etc etc. Basically do some fun chores around the house.
I guess, as well, I keep seeing a picture on my desk of my dad (who passed away like 40 years ago when I was 10) on his tractor, and remember good souvenirs of him on his old tractor at our cottage then. I well remember his tractor was bringing him happiness.

I bought a TYM 394 Cab which should be delivered in September. I know, like in any other industry (no matter if it's for cars, trucks, tools, TVs etc etc) there are people that only believe in a particular brand (ex: JD, Kubota, MF etc.) which is all right with me, and by no mean, believe I made the ultimate choice, but still believe this will give me hours and hours of fun at a price that was somewhat reasonable with features that I think will fullfil my needs.
I came here at TBN because often in my searches, Google provided links to these very informative threads.
Thanks for reading
Have a great day everyone - Passez une superbe journ馥 tous le monde ;-)
