Boom Not Working

I have MF2310 TLB and I was in the middle of digging a hole when the boom stop moving left to right. It's in this state of perpetual float(meaning I can grab it and move left and right by hand). The same lever is working for raising and lowering, but when I push it left or right, nothing? There is some very light seepage on the top of the valve around the seal where the actuator(?) goes into the valve assembly, but that's been there for a while now. Basically no fluid is gushing out. All hoses are fine, connected and not leaking. All other lever actions are fine, plenty of umph.

Does this have anything to do with a relief valve? I was working the backhoe pretty hard.

Update: After letting the tractor sit for a couple of hours, it will go to the left at about normal speed, but will not go right.

Haven't had that happen --yet-- on mine, so I'll be looking for input form others and will keep an eye on it! It sure does sound like something going on in the valve, however.

I swapped the two relief valves around on the boom side-to-side valve(put the top one on the bottom and vise versa). The boom now swings the other way really nice, but really slow the other(but workable for now). Based on the swap and the boom working in the other direction once I switch the relief valves around, I'm about 99.9% sure it's the relief valve.

I assume I need to go through the dealership to get this replaced or can I do some TLC on the current one? IE. replace the "O" rings

Based on the fact that it does actually go the other way --though slowly-- it may be worthwhile to "TLC" it, as you say... foreign matter inside perhaps?

I'm away from home on vacation now so don't have access to my manual or my tractor, but I'm going to look that over when I get home!

In the meantime, any pics of the relief valve?
