Boom ram service

Recently purchased a used 5010 cab model mostly for snow removal an light utility work. One of the boom rams has a leak and wondering if there is any other seal kit to fit ...$250 cdn seems from the dealer / mahindra is rather excessive for what should be a $50 part. Considered replacing with a set of cylinders from PA but they don't match as closely as hoped ....any input re kits would be appreciated.

Planning on removing the cab early in the fall to repaint - last owner used for snow clearing and unfortunately didn't rinse / wash frequently enough to remove salt so there's a fair bit of surface rust to be remedied - anyone remove the cab?

Had a leak in one of my cylinders, and took it to a local truck & heavy equipment repair shop. Cost me $110 USD.
One of my knowledgeable neighbors told me we could do it ourselves with a new seal kit for about $30-$40 next time.

That sounds more reasonable for a seal kit...
Dropped it off today but will ask them to include a spare seal kit so I can do it next time assuming rod isn't bent.

I rebuild all my 6520's cylinders. I leave the housing tube on the tractor and pull the rod and piston out. I take the seals and orings to my local hydraulic shop and they sell me all new ones for less than 30 bucks. Backhoe swing cylinder was $8 for seals and orings.

Took the cab off and had it blasted and painted ..last owner used for snowclearing but didn't rinse before storing ... suffice to say paint / coatings are not a strong point on the Mahindra ...epoxy coat should hold up much better ...just about ready to put it back together
