Is there a way to hang a 25 gallon sprayer on the back of the X700 series besides getting the 3ph? I have used my old sprayer in the cart, but I want to put a new sprayer right on the back. Getting a new mower, but hate to spend $500 on a hitch, just for a sprayer.
Thanks, JC

If you have the ability to fabricate and weld, then you could just make a holder for it that bolts to the frame

Deere has a sprayer that hangs on that hangs on the back of the X700 series. I bought one with my 748.

correct, they make a 25 gallon sprayer that mounts to the rear weight bracket, click n go bracket I believe they call it

I made a boom for the front of the tractor, that bolts to the front weight bracket.
Then pull a cart with 30 gal. tank and pump behind.
Quick to hook up, and then I can 'steer' where the spray nozzles are located much better.
The original design was to be able to spray around young tree seedlings so the reason for starting with the boom on the front.
Jury rigged for sure, but I like the quick disconnect (don't have to empty the tank before removing the sprayer rig) and the boom is just four spray nozzles on a 60" square steel rod.

Weld a reciever hitch to a plate, drill the plate and bolt it to the back of your tractor thru existing holes. research this forum and find a design you like or come up with your own.

I just mounted one on the back of my 455 and posted it sunday.

Best mount for the cheapest price is probably the click n go brackets and make the sprayer side mount.

Sorry I didn't explain that very well. If you don't want to buy the John Deere sprayer and buy a different brand to save some money. You could buy the John Deere click n go bracket for the back of the tractor and make the mating mount for the sprayer. In other words make a mount on the sprayer that connects to the tractor click n go brackets, that way you can remove it easily by using the click n go pins.

I ended up splitting the cost of a 40 gal pull type sprayer with my brother. I may add the 3pt one day but saved the money for now. Thanks for the tips. JC
