Boomer 24 routine maintenance

Ok silly question..... manual says fuel filter change (among other things) at 300 hours.

Do I need the element for like $15 or the whole assembly which runs $110?

Note that I want to do it right so spring the $110 is fine if I need to. Just don稚 want to if I don稚 have to.

Just the element, and watch for the O-rings when you disassemble. Put a bucket under it and let some fuel flow through to flush the line.

Also ensure you bleed the air out of the system when finished replacing the cartridge...usually a vent plug on top of the filter assy....crack it and get fuel flowing and let it continue till all the bubbles are out.
