New Holland Boomer 30
I have a boomer 30 that in order to start i have to jiggle the f-n-r lever. I am assuming there is a neutral switch somewhere that needs to be replaced. Where is the switch and any part numbers?

Hydro or gear?

I would guess gear because on the hydro its the foot peddle for forward or reverse and the hydro has a speed range selector for I-N-II-N-III.

If you follow the lever I'm sure you will be able to find the switch which checks for neutral. On my Hydro TC33D its located under the left fender and somewhat visible from the back of the tractor.

Messick's is a good site for looking at exploded parts diagrams using your brand, model and year.

I have the boomer 30 hydro, but I bought the service manual. It only shows the safety controller and the neutral switch being on the left side in the dash (along with a clutch switch).

The neutral switch only completes a path to ground for the safety controller, so make sure the ground is good.

I buy a lot of my parts from Messicks and they have good diagrams and parts numbers on their site. You can also get the info from New Holland’s website. Service manual doesn’t have part numbers.

Good point Jkott, as I was referring to the switch that makes/brakes contact when the lever is moved. As far as I'm aware the controllers for my TC33D are located behind a side panel that a few bolts need to be removed to easily access.

Here are the service manual pages for the neutral safety switch.
