When I use the built it feature on the New Holland website, it charges me almost $2000 to get the tractor "FEL ready" and then another $4960 for the FEL. That makes the total cost for the FEL almost $7000. That can't be right, can it?

7K sounds high for FEL for 2035 Boomer.
(The loader would be a 240TL)
I bought a 4060 Boomer with 270TL Loader in April 2010.
From memory, FEL was less than that.

I would talk to a dealer to see what the numbers are.

No, the question is, if you pay to have the tractor "loader ready," which includes the joystick, etc (at a cost of about $1800), then do you still have to pay the full price for the FEL?

Anybody bought a New Holland recently, after checking the price on the "Build Your Own" site on the New Holland website? If so, did you end price include both the cost of making the tractor loader ready, and the cost of the loader?

I think your right that your buying the valve twice. The built and price tool is done by an outside company, I doubt it can account for all the variations and in the packages.
