Boomer 35 worklight install

bought a new LED worklight for my boomer 35 tractor (HST). I have it mounted to the ROPS and switch attached.

Does anyone know where the tie-in plugs (2) for the 2 wire clip connectors are located on the rear? I found 2 wires
along the back wiring channel behind the seat (black and yellow) but they are not the ones. There are another pair
running out of the same black tube that connect up to the gas tank presumably to measure fuel level. I looked up
under both fenders and the wire bundle underneath just connects into the signal lights. No loose wire theres.

The light never came on with the switch when I turned the dash switch to work light position (front light came on)
when I tried the black / yellow pair above with the LED light.

Only have the user manual and no electrical diagram to go by...

Could the light you added be sensitive to polarity, and you had it backwards when you tryed it? Swap the wires and try it, might work. Otherwise, test it with a volt meter or test light.

tried it swapped and nothing either. put a volt meter on the plug connectors on the tractor and the connections are good. ie: the meter goes hot to right on
connection. I wonder how I can determine if it's the light. Could you hook the light up to a battery to test it out? 12V as in a lawn mower battery?

Yes you can wire it directly to a battery for testing.

Just tested the LED light and switch with my lawn tractor 12V battery. Works fine. so, I obviously don't have the right wires on the tractor.

On my NH 1925, and NH 2310, each had an unused 2 pole connector under the seat (looks like 1/2 of a 4 prong trailer plug). The 1925 was unmarked and teh TC2310 said Work Light). One pole was 12V positive. I wired that to a switch, and then to a light. I found a mating 2 pole plug at my local auto auto parts store.

I "think" I found it under the plate covering the hydraulic lift/lower lever on the right side of the driver seat. The wire bundle going to the rear lights comes out from there
also. Is there a name for this type of connector?

Two Pole Connector. any auto parts store should have one.

The plug under the hydraulic lift lever plate where the rear light wiring bundle comes out from a rubber grommet plug has this rectangular white plug with 2 flat connectors on it with each in different directions ie: one is --, the other | if you know what I mean. I have a query into my local NH dealer to get more info/exact info on where the work light connector is supposed to be. Will update the thread if they respond with anything useful.
