I have a NHt1110 I use to plow snow with. I have been seeing pink colored spots in tire tracks where I have plowed. Happened last year when new, and I am seeing it again this winter. No red/pink fluids in the machine. Is this something coming off tires? Anyone else ever had something like this happen? I haven't asked dealer about it. 109 hrs on machine. My brother-in- law saw it last year and said I had a hydro leak. But as I said ,no fluid in tractor is this color. Tractor has a fel on it that I'm moving the snow with.

pull out your dip sticks one at a time and let them drip once or twice in the snow just to make sure of the color. I believe you when you say there isn't any fluids in this tractor that color, but from the tires sounds weird. If you have liquid filled tires, maybe the anti-freeze in the tires. Do you have a tire on that side with a slow leak? The only two red fluids I can think of are Automatic Transmission Fluid, and RV antifreeze. Good luck with that one, I'm really scratching my head here...

You beat me to it.. RV anti-freeze in the tires for ballast.?. Thats what I have in mine, and that is what I would think if I saw that.

What does it smell like ? Really dumb thought what color is your fuel I know off road up here is red. Just a thought though not sure why it wound be in your tire tracks . Oh just had another thought what color freeze do you use?

Off road diesel will leave pink flecks in the snow. Look for a fuel leak if you are using it.
