No the company that I am remembering actually had only one track on each side. Their web page showed the New Holland but they actuall converted othes also.

Your thinking of Sur track groomers. Sur Track Groomers
I believe this is strictly a snow groomer. They use a ram steer setup where there are two pistons connecting the drag to the tractor and it pushes the tractor left or right.

Murph that's that way I remember it also. Haven't seen them mentioned here yet but it was a very nice conversion, then again maybe I'm just partial to blue.
