Boot Sole Repair - Shoe GOO ???

The Vibram rubber soles on a pair my good boots came detached. Wondering if there are any recommendations for for adhesives/glue that might be better than 'Shoe GOO" ?

I have used the "Amazing Goop" products (including Shoe Goo) with good success but the absolute best stuff for really tough use repairs IMO is 3M 5200...it's polyurethane and just about indestructible... entirely water proof...it's not cheap, it does come in black...

It's primary use is as a marine sealant but it works equally well for many different applications...be sure to read and follow the directions and precautions...

In my business we us a structural adhesive made by Dow. It's called 995 , The stuff is bionic ..ultra strong. I would imagine it would bond virtually anything together and would be permanent.
