Backhoe Boots for shift levels

I have a 1964 MF Backhoe that the shift level and shuttle shift level boots are crack and need replacing. I look on the internet for buying boots, but apparently its not available anymore. Anyone have any of these boots hanging in thier shed they want to sell me or any ideas would be great to.

Don't know the actual design on your machine, on mine I used a trailer ball cover.....Mike

I'am not too sure of what yours are like but I've used boots off the CV axles of my quad ,they work good.Larry

Thanks for replying mike. A trailer ball cover nice idea.That would work for the 3 speed shifter,but the H/N/L & shuttle shifter share the same boot.If I get a chance tomorrow I take some pictures,so you have an idea what i,m talking about. Scotty

One of yours is tricky, the simple one looks like a Ford type. Look at Tsc? I recommend a square bucket over them, while looking for replacement to keep water out of the oil?

Measure the shifters and the bottom openings, then call Roberts. They deal in MF. The one on the right looks similiar to the one on your Oliver 770??

Here is how I did mine! Cut up a rubber glove and used some zip ties!
