Bosch oil filters

Bosch oil filters, are they any good? They had a deal at Autozone for 5 quarts of oil and a Bosch oil filter. It was cheaper than getting just 5 quarts of oil, so I couldn't turn it down. I was going to go to Napa and get a filter but I'm thinking of going ahead an use the Bosch. This is going on my Challenger with the 5.7 hemi.

i think the company that makes bosch is the same that makes K and N the good Bosh filter, the one they bundle with the syn oil is i think the exact same filter minus the nut on the end as the K&n. Some other filters too but am more cloudy on those, i saw it on a post here a few weeks back.

Yes, its a good filter. I would put it up there with Wix/Napa.

It was too good a deal to pass up, 5 quarts of Penzoil and the Bosch filter for something like $15.

Bosch filters like the others sold by Autozone and Advanced Autoparts or O'Reilly as well as Wally Smart are for the most part manufactured by Champion in Salem Illinois. NAPA, Big A, Carquest are products of Wix in Gastonia, NC. Not much really different in any of them. It is up to the people who write the marketing literature to convince you there is something different about them.
