\'Bota brings in the harvest
We did a little backyard peach harvest today. The bare forks seem to work best without a pallet for the workers in the trees, since the forks themselves don't seem to get mixed up with the branches. After working for awhile, finding the fork with your foot becomes pretty easy. My trees are full dwarfs, so most of the time its just 4 feet to the ground. I wouldn't recomend using this procedure for full sized trees!
I used a piece of plywood for my table on some Home Depot plastic saw horses. When we were done, just pick up the table and bring it to the house.
The best part of the job will be the aromas in the house the next couple of days!!! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
