My grass is a tan as a ... really tan thing! We had a fair dry spell and some heat and the grass went tan. Now, it seems no matter how much rain we get, the grass is hestiant to com eback. Perhaps the het is keeping it dormant. Fine by me. I'm saving $ on diesel.

I never would have guessed it, but it's turned out to be true.. I get as much use moving snow in the winter as I do mowing in the summer. Every year it seems I get a month off around July/August.

I should take this opportunity to change the coolant, but I'm nervous about that job (never did that before). So, instead, I fish!!!

Hummmm.............I'm 25 miles from you and we is green and mowing weekly.

Reminds me of a Texan I use to work with who hated mowing. Said he use to water his lawn on a hot, dry day at noon in the Spring. He said he wouldn't have to worry about mowing in the Summer cause it would burn so bad. He told me the only bad thing was the brown lawn and then he'd give me a big grin!
