I traded my 5400 in Friday on a new 5320 to use on our firewood operation. Think I'll have to be more careful in the woods for a while, the paint on this one is spectacular!

Thats a good looking machine, the 541 is a really good FEL.
Also good you got MFWD. What Tranny option did you pick?

How deep is that white stuff gonna get before it starts melting?

Have fun, be safe!

Awesome looking tractor,my next one may be the same thing only with a cab.
Do you sell a lot of firewood? Do you have a firewood processor? How big of a customer base do you have ?
I am thinking about getting into the firewood business, I have about 70 acres of hardwoods that keeps me busy.

Enjoy the tractor.

If your shopping for a processor, you might want to have a look at these... Chomper

To my uneducated eye they look to be the most productive... HTH

Congrat's on the new tractor. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I could not help but notice the hoses hanging down from the loader frame. The picture may be deceiving but if your headed into the woods. Be careful they do not get caught on something. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I really wanted the cab, too. I decided that since it wouldn't fit in an 8 ft door, I'd live without it. Probably not very practical around trees, either. Transmission is the sync-shuttle. I bought it off the lot, so no decision on my part.
I recently bought a processor. It is a Hakki 3-pt hitch model. Small, but very productive. It makes around 5 face cords per hour and has its own conveyor. Hope nobody else around here gets one of these.
Not much of a customer base, as such. I advertise locally and sell all that I have each year. Not enough to justify all the equipment, but I have fun and might break even.
