Surprise! Not a tractor but did buy our place a new U-25 Excavator with bucket thumb. As to the price; our local dealer means more to us than saving a few bucks chasing around pitting one dealer against another as the local guys are going to get our business anyway, been there done that with trucks and other equipment. The Hoe is on it's way getting here sometime Friday or Monday so once the dealer gets her all checked out, they will deliver it. My Son is all worked up as this will be his to both run AND care for...

Bought ours in the spring has done everything we have asked to do so far. Size really does matter at our place if it was much bigger than it is physically; it wouldn't have fit into some of the spots we've had it enjoy:thumbsup:

I'm so jealous...... Wish I had a "need" for one. I've got the "want" for sure. :)

If I can learn to post photos here, I'll do one. Agree on these machines doing much more than they look capable of; our first job was removing a 54 inch thick fir tree and perhaps TO BIG I thought, but this machine not only dug that puppy up enough to tip it over, it also moved the 6 ft long cut logs with ease putting them into my Sons dump trailer. After sawing them into 14 inch log rounds and being to heavy for us to pick up, we used the U35 to set them carefully on the log splitter making them into 4 pieces for easier handling. So far, we have two cords of wood stacked up with lots to go. ! Oh yeah, the engine not only sips diesel, it is very quite too.

Nice machine. Forgive my curiosity, but I see by your signature that you have a couple of nice older John Deeres. Do they still work well? I just was wondering why you went for a Kubota brand excavator? I look at excavators myself from time to time.
BTW, theres a spec comparison for mini excavators at https://www.kubota.com/assets/product/comps/U25/u25S_comp.pdf
Enjoy, rScotty
