I posted a few weeks back about breaking off one of the pivots on my MT180D; I was able to have a welder put the pieces back together (I'll update that thread shortly), but figured it's only a matter of time before I accidentally find another immovable object and rip it loose again.
I had been looking briefly prior to damaging my tractor, but when I broke it, I began to look in earnest.
Yesterday, I was able to snag a brand-new (just off the boat) Massey Ferguson GC1720 TLB. It comes with the DL95 loader and the CB65 backhoe with 12" 3-tooth bucket. Price was $18,000. I could have paid cash, but I went with the 84 month financing @ 0.99%. That is an absolute bargain. I also took AGCO up on their insurance policy @ just $590 for the life of the loan, they cover all damage and loss not caused by neglect and purposeful acts.
The local dealer will prep and deliver next week. Delivery fee was only $70; totally worth it. Pics to follow.
My plan is to keep using the MT180D for the mower and rear blade as long as it holds up and then I'll be able to keep the backhoe and loader on the GC1720 full-time.
In the next couple of months I'll be getting a rear snow blower to pair with the loader for this winter.
