Picked up my first tractor this week, a 2011 Kubota L series 3700su 4wd with 500+ hours ( smooth 3 pt hitch, R4 tires, hydrostatic, + quick mount FEL). I told my wife it’s her Valentine’s Day present.
I´ve been lurking and reading for 2 years here and other places. Learned a lot here, many thanks. Mostly looking for a powered wheel barrel and mobile shovel to save my back and shoulders. A 25-30 hp tractor probably would be ok, but the situation presented itself for this 37 hp unit in nice condition, and fair price ( I think) at $13,800.
Thanks to all the informative posts to help a newbie.
I guess I’ll have to name this tractor ”Rosey” in remembrance of my romantic gesture to claim this tractor as a Valentine’s Day purchase that my wife can use ( and should last longer than a dozen cut red roses). Will be clearing some land for her rather large, dreamed-about-forever, gardening/ bee hives / chicken coup area. She seems to be good at finding things for me to do in my free time.
Anyone have an owner’s manual for a L-3700su they don’t need? Best place to get one? I see Messicks has them for ~$25.
