So the energy valve detent stopped working correctly so I bought a new Prince valve. I wanted a Prince because they came with better recomandations then the Energy witch by the way has ball bearings in the detent wore out in 5 years. I know people that have had the Prince valves for a lot more years and a lot more cords split.
Now here is my proplem this is mounted on a Home depot MTD splitter. It seems that the new valve ports are just the opposite that the old ones. Has anyone done this change over on their splitter if so can you post some pic so I can see how you did it.

Posting a question, at a forum, is obviously harder than answering a question.....LOL....

The reason most of us are members at a forum like this, is to learn....we learn from each others experiences that we share by posting new threads a posting replies....

A person with a "problem", that enters a forum to get help, needs to put in the initial main EFFORT aka HOME WORK!! In this case your EFFORT would be, together with typing on the keyboard, to post necessary information about the symptoms, and how you have plumbed your valve etc. That usually includes a picture describing the "problem" and a link to the site showing the new valve....then some one at the forum can tell you, what's WRONG, and then how to make it RIGHT....
We want a lot of pictures, showing problems, at this forum...thats how we learn....

Thew only homework related information you have provided is this "the opposite" experience you had.....

If the new valve ports are just "the opposite", why don't you try to plumb
them ports "the opposite" way??

Please do your HOMEWORK and then come back.... preferably with feed back.....and not only that you got the problem solved.....we are all dying to hear if plumbing "the opposite" way did solve the problem....:D
